We are looking for a Summer trainee, Development to join our Motor Supply team in the Manufacturing Technology organization. As a Development Trainee you will be working with motor manufacturing support and quality related tasks. Your daily responsibilities include for example data-analysis, updating documentation and troubleshooting possible problems with stakeholders. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility of partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for an engineering student who is eager to learn more about electrical motor manufacturing related tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your curiosity to co-operate in cross organisation and also with suppliers, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. We appreciate willingness to travel within Europe if needed. There is also a possibility for thesis work after the trainee period. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important. 

Requirements:

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering (preferably 3rd-4th year studies).
• Practical experience from manufacturing or service environment.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
• Experience in co-operation with different stakeholders, like suppliers and subcontractors is seen as beneficial.
• Fluent English language skills, other languages are an asset.
• Understanding of electrical motor manufacturing is seen as highly beneficial.
