Job Description

As a member of the Global IT Support Team, you will be part of the Global IT Service Delivery function, providing technical and software distribution services across the globe. This role demands strong coordination, technical analysis, and adherence to IT processes to ensure seamless support and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold Konecranes Core Values and Code of Conduct in all professional interactions and decisions.
  • Manage IT Requests through the IT Ticketing Tool:
    • Classify incoming tickets.
    • Obtain necessary approvals.
    • Assign tickets to L2/L3 support teams.
    • Follow up until resolution and closure.
    • Perform Technical Analysis of unknown or new incidents and service requests.
    • Collaborate with the Team Lead to build and maintain a knowledge base.

Incident Management:

  • Assess severity, impact, and risk.
  • Escalate to L2/L3 teams when required.
  • Adhere to IT Policies and Processes during daily operations.
  • Support IT Projects by executing assigned activities and tasks.
  • Identify Problem Areas based on recurring incidents and communicate findings.
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as part of project or change implementations.

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

To achieve these goals required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT.
  • 1–3 years experience in a Windows environment.
  • Strong understanding of OS, Networking, and Applications.
  • Familiarity with iOS, Android, Windows, and mobile OS.
  • Knowledge of SCCM and ITIL is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team collaboration and ability to work with global teams.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001, 45001 standards is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT.

1–3 years experience in a Windows environment
