We're now looking for an enthusiastic and creative 

Summer Trainee, Internal Communications 

to join our Customer Strategy and Channels team in Global Marketing, Commercial and Operations.

In this role, you'll help drive the success of KONE’s key marketing programs by supporting internal communication channels. You'll also have the chance to learn about change management and communications while bringing fresh ideas.

The internship is four months paid full-time work starting in spring. The start date can be agreed mutually to suit your studies and preference. This position is located in Espoo, Finland.  

Your main responsibilities:

• Increase awareness of major marketing initiatives within KONE’s global network through clear and regular updates.

• Plan, design, and build SharePoint sites that support people-focused communication for global marketing programs.

• Work closely with program leads to develop SharePoint layouts and produce communication materials.

• Assist with other general internal communication activities for KONE’s Global Marketing department

 To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• Completed most of your studies, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.

• Native-level written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong team player skills while also being capable of working independently and self-driven.

• A hands-on approach to tasks and problem-solving

• A passion for storytelling and enjoy content creation and writing.

• Experience in digital content creation and online platforms.

• Eagerness to collaborate and create alongside colleagues from various teams.

• Desire to work in a global, multicultural environment.

• An open-minded approach to learning with a positive mindset.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPoint for content creation.

• Strong visual sensibility and creativity.

• Experience with web tools, video production, or photography is a bonus—please attach samples if you have them.
