About this role

Main requirements for the ideal candidate:

• Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautic Engineering (or equivalent)

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in Mechanical Industry

• Good knowledge of 3D CAD modeling (preferably Creo)

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes & methods, ability to find innovative technical solutions

• Knowledge of PDM (Product Data Management)

• Basic knowledge of coding (C++ or equivalent) for product structure management • He/she likes to put hands on prototypes and follow testing

• Good spoken and written English • Proficiency in MS Office package

• He/she is a team player, open and communicative person, able to easily establish good relationship with his/her colleagues

• Innovative approach and drive to generate new ideas and ways of working

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with ability to work independently and cooperatively in team settings.

Responsibilities:

He/she will work in the study and design of mechanical components of elevator car and doors, in order to achieve cost saving, offer enhancement and quality improvement on the product, as well as new and original design solutions. The design phase will include the use of 3D CAD for the preparation of the models and configuration rules of the components.

Validation of the designed components, by following experimental tests on the product, will be also part of his/her job. During his/her activity, he/she will interface with other R&D units, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, installation and maintenance to follow and support the implementation of component modification in all its phases.

Relevant part of the activity will be to follow elevator cars & doors design work, implement new components & maintain the components.
