BASIC FUNCTION 


Under the general supervision of the Manager HR, is responsible for processes personnel administrative changes such as: new hires, quits, transfers, employee performance evaluations, etc. prepares Social Security changes notices and obtains corresponding authorizations. Elaboration of several documentation, like absenteeism report, tardiness permits, pre-payroll reports for every foreman. 
Responsible for implementing and coordinating training initiatives and instilling the KOS philosophy to the training function.  

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Responsible for providing to new workers: ID Credentials, Uniforms, lockers, etc. 
  2. Support contact with the Cafeteria of the Company. Assist on conducing periodic surveys about the service and monitor all the daily issues related. 
  3. Distribute and Follow up performance evaluations for the Unions employees. 
  4. Provide support in the organization of social events. 
  5. General attention to the personnel. 
  6. Implement and maintain a comprehensive training and education support program for this Reynosa Stainless facility targeting both hourly and administrative associates. Training scope will cover orientation, job skills, safety, personal/professional improvement and general subject training and education.  
  7. Cultivate a partnership with members of supervision to help support strategic quality/KOS and other manufacturing objectives.  
  8. Develop new and modify existing assessment tools. Maintain all assessment records, analyze the results, and determine training priorities from the assessment results.
  9. Conduct and maintain competency assessment testing to understand knowledge levels and ensure training provides a competitive advantage. 
  10. Develop and mentor additional facilitators within the Stainless Operation and KPNA to provide training as added responsibility to their regular function. Organize instructors, observe instructor’s techniques, and evaluate training for continuos improvement. 
  11. Maintain communication with Stainless associates and supervision. Leverage these internal partnerships to ensure training needs are identified and provide on the job training.  
  12. Coordinate use of Stainless-Steel resources. 
  13. Facilitate training when internal resources are not available.

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 5 year experience in a similar position. Position requires strong relationship skills, ability to communicate to different from all levels, strong oral and written skills, computer knowledge is a must.
