About this role

Our Product Testers play a key role in delivering our customers a quality product, by conducting usability testing on a broad range of Kogan.com products and providing accurate reporting to ensure the quality and safety of the product, in line with Kogan.com and Australian Industry standards. By striving to make every customer experience a positive one, they're able to facilitate the growth of our business!


This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to kick off their career, working in a dynamic, fast-paced and innovative space and providing exposure to how a growing, ASX listed business runs!

In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Completing usability testing on a wide range of electrical and non-electrical products
  • Breaking down associated products and completing formal reports to evaluate build quality, component quality and suitability of components
  • Sharing reports and finding with relevant internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Providing advice on the relevant AS/NZS standards for tested products
  • Suggesting improvements and any changes that should be implemented in products being evaluated or existing range where applicable
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide solutions and fixes to any identified problems across our product range
  • Working with the product and Support teams to confirm identified issues are resolved in updated samples and software that is provided
  • Ensuring that the testing area is maintained, kept clean and free from any Occupational Health & Safety hazards.


To be successful in this role, you should be:
  • University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar)
  • Previous experience in an internship or work experience capacity within Product Testing will be highly regarded
  • An exceptional problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and have an ability to use various cloud-based tools in daily work to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Comfortable building and maintaining effective relationships, through exceptional communication and engagement
  • Ready to challenge, be challenged, and work within our highly disruptive business model.
