We connect advertisers with consumers through precision targeting, automated optimization, and intelligent decisioning at massive scale.</p> <p>The Ads Engineering- Delivery team builds scalable systems that power real-time decisioning and optimization for global marketplaces. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Ads Delivery team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-performance systems that manage billions of ad impressions, bids, and conversions daily. You will lead projects that shape how advertisers reach millions of consumers across major platforms. You will own critical services end to end, collaborate closely with product and data teams, and help evolve the platform that enables Koddi to drive measurable growth for our partners.</p> <p>This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys working in fast-moving environments, is a team player, very collaborative and takes pride in building robust, scalable systems that deliver real business impact.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Design, build, and optimize large-scale backend systems that power Koddi’s ad serving, optimization, and reporting pipelines.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data science, and client delivery to identify and implement impactful solutions.</li> <li>Own technical projects from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.</li> <li>Drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and developer experience, ensuring systems meet performance goals under heavy data and traffic loads.</li> <li>Experiment and innovate with new ideas in ad performance, auction dynamics, and optimization algorithms.</li> <li>Mentor and support other engineers, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Use data and metrics to evaluate impact, guide decision-making, and identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency.</li> <li>Contribute to Koddi’s technical vision by influencing architecture, design standards, and best practices across the Ads organization.</li> <li>Participate in lively technology discussions where your opinion is truly valued</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who You Are</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Minimum 8 years of professional experience developing and maintaining complex, high-scale, or high-availability systems.</li> <li>Strong programming fundamentals and deep understanding of software design principles.</li> <li>Proficiency in at least one <strong>object-oriented or strongly typed language</strong>, with a preference for <strong>Go, Python, or the C family</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar.</li> <li>Experience designing and building backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.</li> <li>Proficiency with <strong>relational and non-relational databases</strong>, such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, or Aerospike.</li> <li>Hands-on experience deploying, operating, and monitoring production systems in <strong>cloud environments</strong> such as AWS or Azure.</li> <li>A strong foundation in <strong>distributed systems</strong>, concurrency, and performance optimization.</li> <li>Experience contributing to large, multi-contributor codebases using modern version control and CI/CD workflows.</li> <li>A proven ability to <strong>mentor other engineers</strong>, raise the standard of technical quality, and lead by example.</li> <li>A mindset of <strong>curiosity and adaptability</strong>, with an interest in learning emerging technologies.</li> <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence and align across teams.</li> <li>Proven ability to deliver measurable results through high-quality engineering solutions that improve performance, reliability, or business outcomes.</li> <li>A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with real-time bidding systems, ad serving, or performance marketing platforms.</li> <li>Knowledge of experimentation frameworks or machine learning driven optimization.</li> <li>Contributions to improving developer productivity or scaling shared systems.</li> </ul>
