About this role

Position: CNC Machinist

Shift: 4x10s (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri)

Pay: $20-25/hr 

 

 

This role will work daily in Ensight’s machine shop.  The CNC Machine Operator will work closely with the machine shop lead to work on daily assigned machine projects and ensure quality, on time production needs.   

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Setup, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and including saws, grinders, and cutters.  G code and CAD/CAM will be utilized where possible.
  • Establishes a clean, well-organized, daily maintained and efficient work environment (5S)
    • no chips or cutting fluid on the floor at the end of the day
  • Maintains and manages tooling inventory.
  • Inspects finished parts utilizing gauges, micrometers, digital calipers etc.
  • May be asked to perform other duties as needed.

 

Qualifications

 

Education

  • Requires previous CNC Machine experience.    

 

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

  • 1-2 years of manufacturing and machining experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working with CNC Machine Tools
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow basic safety practices.

  • Requires the interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with wide variety of internal personnel. 
  • Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.
