The Opportunity

Own and scale a modern, full‑funnel growth engine—equal parts brand, media, and analytics. You’ll lead strategy, team, channels, and partners across traditional and digital. You know how to turn insight into world‑class creative AND you’re relentless about the numbers—CAC, LTV, speed‑to‑lead, and conversion at every step from impression to signed retainer.

Responsibilities 

  • Brand platform & storytelling: Define positioning, promise, and voice that earn trust with multi‑ethnic audiences across California; build a brand that is both inspirational and action‑oriented.
  • Full‑funnel ownership: Architect and optimize awareness → consideration → lead → intake → qualification → consultation → signed retainer. Set KPIs, targets, and instrumentation for each stage.
  • Channel leadership:Plan and optimize a smart mix across:
    • Traditional: TV, Radio, OOH (billboards/OOH), OTT/CTV.
    • YouTube Ads: skippable & non‑skippable in‑stream, bumpers, in‑feed, Shorts, Masthead/CTV.
    • Creator/Influencer partnerships: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram (sponsored integrations, whitelisting, UGC).
    • Digital Audio (Podcasts): host‑read & network/programmatic buys (e.g., Spotify/Megaphone, SXM Media, iHeart, Acast).
    • Performance & Lifecycle: Paid Search/Shopping, Paid Social (Meta/Instagram/YouTube/TikTok), Programmatic/Display/Video, SEO/Content, Email & SMS.
    • Programmatic (DSPs): Hands-on planning/buying in DV360/The Trade Desk across open exchange, PMP/PG, CTV and programmatic DOOH; audience strategy (1P, lookalikes, contextual), frequency management, and supply-path optimization (SPO).
    • Brand safety & quality: Viewability, fraud control, and suitability via IAS/DoubleVerify/Moat; allowlists/blocklists; strict localization for multi-ethnic reach.
  • Media & budget ownership: Build annual/quarterly plans; manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets; negotiate buys; forecast and hit CAC/LTV goals; evaluate MMM/MTA pragmatically.
  • Creative that converts: Lead in‑house/agency teams to ship insight‑driven, culturally fluent creative—across relevant languages (e.g., English and Spanish)—that moves people and drives action.
  • Performance & experimentation:Stand up a disciplined test‑learn‑scale roadmap (creative, audiences, placements, landing pages, offers). Ship fast, measure precisely, double‑down on winners.
    • DCO & creative ops: Dynamic Creative Optimization, rapid variant testing (video/UGC/Shorts/CTV spots), rotation rules, and pre-flight compliance QA.
    • Landing-page engine: Templated LPs with feed-based content, instant load, click-to-call, and bilingual toggles; rigorous A/B testing tied to retainer-level outcomes.
  • Web & CRO: Own the web/landing experience end‑to‑end; improve page speed, UX, forms, offers, trust elements; reduce friction and drop‑off.
  • Intake & speed‑to‑lead: Partner with Intake/Call Center to tighten lead routing, QA, and agent performance; drive response‑time SLAs and connect marketing signals to outcomes.
  • Attribution & analytics:Implement the data stack (GA4, ad platforms, call tracking, CDP/CRM, BI). Attribute offline/online, TV/CTV lift, creator/podcast impact (e.g., promo codes, vanity URLs, PodSights/Chartable), and make decisions with clean data.
    • Conversion plumbing: Server-side tagging, Google Enhanced Conversions/Offline Conversion Import, Meta CAPI, call-tracking to CRM; dedupe logic and identity resolution to tie media → signed retainer.
    • Incrementality & modeling: Weekly budget re-allocation using MMM + geo/matched-market lift tests for TV/CTV/OOH/DOOH; creator/podcast code/URL reconciliation.
    • Cookieless readiness: Consent Mode, first-party data strategy, clean-room or publisher IDs for durable targeting.
  • Community & partnerships: Build presence where our clients live and work, including multilingual media, community orgs, creators, events, and grassroots outreach.
  • Team & vendor leadership: Hire, coach, and scale a high‑performing team; set goals, processes, and rhythms. Select and manage agencies and technology partners.

Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years across brand, growth, and media with proven ability to scale from obscurity to household‑name awareness.
  • Cross‑channel mastery across traditional (TV/Radio/OOH/OTT‑CTV) and digital (Search, Social, Programmatic/Video, SEO/Content, Lifecycle/CRM).
  • Built or led marketing at the agency level or tech or tech‑enabled commerce brands; experience with household‑name growth environments
  • Can demonstrate success owning large, multi‑million‑dollar budgets and hitting aggressive growth and efficiency targets.
  • Led high‑impact creative (video, social, UGC/influencer) from insight to ship; comfortable driving both brand lift and direct response.
  • Built and scaled teams and agency ecosystems; known for clear goals, feedback, and accountability.
  • Cultural competence: Demonstrated skill in community listening, creative testing across languages, and message QA with native speakers; multilingual experience (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
  • Success growing service businesses with complex funnels and compliance considerations.
  • Experience connecting marketing → intake/call center → signed retainer with airtight measurement and QA.
  • Hands‑on with analytics stacks (GA4, platform pixels, call tracking, CDP/CRM, dashboards/BI); comfortable debating MMM vs. MTA and choosing pragmatic solutions.
  • A maker’s mindset—able to refine a landing page one hour and present a TV/CTV strategy the next.
