Recruiter - Electrical
About this role:
As a Recruiter at Knight Electric, you will play a critical role in supporting our Talent Acquisition Manager by executing recruitment strategies and managing the full-cycle hiring process for a variety of roles. You will partner closely with hiring managers to source, attract, and engage top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong talent pipelines.
Location and Travel:
- This role will be based in our Justin, TX home office location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to understand labor needs and job requirements.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Utilize creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and hiring events.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate records and compliance.
- Draft and post job descriptions on various platforms, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Assist in onboarding new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Support employer branding initiatives to promote Knight Electric as an employer of choice.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Knowledge of recruiting in the Electrical skilled-trades field required.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Knowledge of sourcing skills and ability to attract passive candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
