As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the inbound and outbound logistics operations within the supply chain, ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of raw materials or other items and finished products to the plant and from the plant to the customer, contributing to the organization’s overall supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. Finally, you will be involved in inter-departmental processes, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director.</strong></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of materials and other items as well as ensure on-time delivery to meet customer demand and service level agreement.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with procurement to manage carrier relationships and negotiate favorable terms</p></li><li><p>Manage the distribution of finished products to the customers.</p></li><li><p>Oversee the management of potential third party distribution centers and warehouses as well as dispatching and loading of the trucks.</p></li><li><p>Development of processes, concepts and strategies for the management of logistics service providers.</p></li><li><p>Identify possible future transportation capacity constraints and bottlenecks in the supply chain.</p></li><li><p>Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for transportation cost reduction.</p></li><li><p>Measure, analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related logistics (e.g. Real Time Visibility rate, Freight spend, CO2 scope 3, monthly carrier performance).</p></li><li><p>Analyze data to identify areas for improvement & cost reduction.</p></li><li><p>Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><p><strong>What we’d love for you to have:</strong></p><p>We are interested in you as a person: your attitude, behaviors and values.
