Job Description
Your key responsibilities:
- Develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications using clean code.
- Diagnose and repair bugs and performance bottlenecks for native-like performance.
- Reach out to the open source community to encourage and assist in implementing mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves quickly and frequently breaks things.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security standards are met.
- Communicate with Japanese clients for requirement clarification and technical discussions.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience with React Native development
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React/React Native patterns
Proven experience building and deploying production-grade mobile applications to both iOS and Android app stores
Experience integrating and customizing video streaming solutions in React Native
Strong understanding of state management solutions (Redux, Context API, MobX, etc.)
Experience with native module integration and bridging when required
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for React Native
Experience with authentication flows and subscription management
Proficiency with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment
Understanding of app security best practices
Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency, with strong communication skills
