KAS Pty Ltd (KAS) and Target Australia Sourcing (TAS) are part of the Anko Sourcing. We are now looking for a Product Technologist Developer to join our Apparel Quality team.

 

Job Title: Product Technologist Developer (Apparel)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

 

Job Accountabilities

• Ensure products are evaluated, tested and approved (sealed) in accordance with Company standards and mandatory requirements

• Provide technical supports to all relevant parties during briefing, sampling and production.

• Creating production tech packs and provide quality-related comments on products design.

• Arrange training and on-going training to all relevant parties including team members, suppliers and merchandisers

• Make sure QA work adherence to Kmart policy, standard, process and align with strategy

• Carry out line review with teams

• Work with teams and supplier on risk assessment, failure analysis, production and claim investigation, problem solving, correction action planning and continuous quality improvement. Escalate to high level on outstanding and critical issue

• Keep monitoring the factory audit status

• Ensure customer feedback including complaint and supplier issues are managed and resolved with the suppliers

• Engage in Quality Improvement Activities and Ad hoc project as assigned by management

• Assist in the implementation of emergency response and building evacuations

 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in textile or garment technology

• 5 years of related working experiences, preferably in foreign trading company or buying office.

• Solid knowledge and experience in handling Apparel products

• Familiar with Australian technical standard requirements, or EU markets

• Proactive, energetic, results oriented, committed, and highly motivated

• Good communication skills both in English

• Familiar with adobe illustrate and CLO software will be advantage.

• Travel for factory visit is required.
