KAS Pty Ltd (KAS) and Target Australia Sourcing (TAS) are part of the Anko Sourcing. We are now looking for a Product Technologist to join our GM Quality team who will be mainly responsible for handling the quality aspect of Appliances / Lighting products.
Job Accountabilities
Ensure products are evaluated, tested and approved (sealed) in accordance with Company standards and mandatory requirements
Ensure that full factory audit and approval on potential suppliers are carried out in accordance with Kmart policy with corrective action plan in place
Ensure that all relevant inspection criteria (checklist, specification, QA report etc) and sealed sample are made available to the QC inspectors prior to production inspection
Ensure inspection criteria(DCL) / Seal sample and product specification available to QC inspection
Ensure customer feedback including complaint and supplier issues are managed and resolved with the suppliers
Engage in Quality Improvement Activities and Ad hoc project as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline and background
At least 3 years’ QA working experience
Solid knowledge and experience in handling quality aspects of Appliance related products
Experience in handling quality aspects of Lighting related products will be a plus
Preventive awareness in term of product safety and production consistency
Experience in retail business sourcing or buying office is preferable
Experience in collaborating with 3rd party test laboratory is preferable
Familiar with Australian technical standard requirements, or EU markets
Good communication skills both in English and Mandarin
Strong integrity and professional ethics
Knowledge in ISO 9000 and factory audit experience is an advantage
Self-discipline, good team player, self-motivated, open minded
