As our Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our two Victorian Distribution Centres for Kmart and Target, based in Truganina. From managing contractors and overseeing facility and equipment maintenance, to problem-solving technical issues and driving continuous improvement, you’ll be at the heart of our Supply Chain performance.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Managing facilities, equipment, and A-Class assets across two DCs
  • Coordinating and monitoring contractor performance, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Responding to maintenance requests, prioritising and delivering timely solutions
  • Leading preventative and corrective maintenance activities
  • Conducting root cause analysis to improve machinery efficiency and minimise downtime
  • Managing maintenance schedules, budgets, and reporting
  • Supporting emergency response and safety management practices
  • Partnering with leaders to drive strategy and site improvement
     

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

 

  • 10 years’ experience in site maintenance within manufacturing, logistics or Supply Chain operations
  • A relevant trade qualification (mechanical fitter, electrician, boiler maker, etc.)
  • Strong technical skills, ideally with exposure to a CMMS systems
  • High mechanical aptitude and ability to undertake minor repairs
  • Strong influencing, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
  • Safety-first mindset, with knowledge of COR and compliance requirements
  • Financial acumen with experience managing maintenance budgets
