Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelder's Allentown, PA office is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician (CoMET) to join our growing team.  The Senior CoMET Technician will provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients.  This role offers a dynamic work environment, and the opportunity to build a career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction material in the field to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
• Prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of their supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7+ years of soils inspection and testing experience.
• Certifications in the following are required:
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician-Grade 1.
• ICC Certifications.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector.
• Radiation Safety Training for operation of a nuclear density gauge.

• Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills both in written and verbal.
• Proficient in using a tablet.
• General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel.
