We are looking for a confident and people-focused Terminal Operations Manager to lead our freight terminal in Mt Maunganui.
- Lead the safe and efficient movement of freight in and out of the terminal
- Manage, coach and develop terminal staff to support high performance
- Ensure resources are used effectively and operational safety standards are met consistently
- Make sound decisions under pressure and influence positive outcomes
- Maintain strong service delivery to our customers and internal partners
- Work Monday-Friday day shift, with an on-call component supporting 24/7 operations

- Experience in operations, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build high performing teams
- A visible commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing
- Confidence managing performance, coaching leaders, and supporting staff development
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers and stakeholders
- Experience investigating incidents and driving practical improvements
- Roster planning and resource/cost management capability
- A full, clean Driver License
