ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Los Angeles market (West Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, and Malibu)
Status: Full-Time
Compensation: $90,000-$100,000/yr
Position Summary:
The Regional Operations Manager oversees all LA retail doors operational efficiencies, inventory control & management, and ensuring front-of-house sales needs are met. Acting as the liaison for the retail store(s), the Regional Operations Manager will continuously communicate and update all appropriate business partners on all inventory, logistics, and product related matters. They are responsible for managing all deliveries to and from the retail store(s), they will partner with the retail team(s) to coordinate all product transfers to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The Regional Operations Manager will also support the Ecommerce business by overseeing the overall process of E-comm orders & returns, as the business requires. This individual will be a liaison between retail field and HQ reporting any on store performance, conducting trainings and monitoring KPI adherence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities:
Overseeing all LA retail doors ensuring timely execution on the following: Inbound - Receiving of product in a timely manner (ie. Replenishment, Releases etc.); Fulfillment turnaround time; Outbound- Ensuring cleanouts issued are completed within the week* to ensure inventory levels are maintained
Coordinating with HQ departments to ensure: Inventory levels are maintained for all LA doors; Product is being received in a timely manner; Cycle count results are being reviewed and address any areas of concern
Responsible for recruiting, onboarding and training new Operations Managers in the LA Market.
Training of new system updates/rollouts to all LA doors including warehouses.
Evaluating KPI metrics for all operations manager in the LA Market
Responsible for scheduling and conducting LA market KPI meetings for all operations manager in the LA Market
Coordinate with administrative specialists to ensure all LA retail doors scheduling meets business needs
Partner with general managers and advise on any operational issues
Routinely visit each store in the LA market to evaluate BOH maintenance and efficiency and ensure BOH standards are being met.
Oversee yearly/quarterly projects ie. (PI Prep, Sample Sale)
Communicate daily goals and priorities with store team(s), and redirect activities as needed to achieve desired results.
Travels within their assigned market(s), to provide physical support and guidance regarding BOH operations.
Assist store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.
Help lead the execution of all cycle counts, physical inventory audits as required by the business.
Main point of contact for any special projects, store events, pop-ups, etc within the region.
REQUIREMENTS
Availability & Travel:
Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.
Ability to travel up to 5 times a week, within their assigned market(s) (West Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, & Malibu stores)
Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
Experience:
5+ years of warehouse/operations management experience
1+ years of retail/apparel operations experience
1+ years leading a team
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects/tasks at one time
Efficient and effective communicator and delegator
Comprehensive computer skills and familiarity with Google Suite (Email, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
Ability to perform business math and accounting
Standing/Walking for prolonged periods of time
Lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
Bending, twisting as well as climbing of ladders and other physical tasks related to standard retail operations
