The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $X - $Y at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in this Role:
- Perform engineering prototype builds and designs from concept to completion.
- Work from engineering prints, sketches, and concept ideas.
- Operate equipment including CNC mill, manual mill, manual lathe, laser, brake press, horizontal and vertical band saws, and MIG/TIG welders.
- Assemble conveyor loops based on engineered designs.
- Electrical and controls wiring experience.
- Utilize Microsoft apps, SAP (S4/HANA), KION Intranet, Teamcenter, and ASC products page.
- Solve complex and technically demanding problems, escalating only unusual issues.
- Provide guidance and training to lower-level employees as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts.
What We are Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or 1-2 years vocational/technical training preferred.
- Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in technical or specialty areas.
- Thorough knowledge of material handling equipment and engineering processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and sketches.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex tasks independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, SAP (S4/HANA), Teamcenter, KION Intranet, and ASC products page.
