Founding Designer

We are seeking a Founding Designer with 2 - 6 years of experience in consumer-facing product design, demonstrating exceptional UI/UX skills and a user-centered design process. You should be comfortable taking full ownership of the user experience and interface design, from high-level product strategy to hands-on UI/UX work. A proven ability to translate complex ideas into simple, elegant, and effective user interfaces is crucial, along with a maniacal obsession with quality and attention to detail. Bonus points if you have some experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) or experience working on consumer products in the social, gaming, or AI spaces. What you'll do: - Take full ownership of Kindroid's user experience and interface design, from high-level product strategy to hands-on UI/UX work for new features. - Engage directly with our passionate user base through interviews, feedback sessions, and data analysis to deeply understand their needs and motivations. - Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features and interactions, creating everything from wireframes and user flows to high-fidelity, polished mockups. - Collaborate closely with our engineers to ensure your designs are implemented to the highest standard, making pragmatic trade-offs when necessary. - Think systematically to build and maintain a design system that ensures a cohesive and friendly user experience as we scale. - Contribute to growth initiatives by designing and analyzing experiments that improve the user journey, from onboarding to daily engagement.
