Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Communcations Intern to join our Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit content for internal and external audiences on a variety of platforms
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to identify industry news, topics, and trends
- Collaborate with partners across the firm to elevate region-specific content to entire firm
- Write and edit content for intranet, external website, and social media platforms
- Promote employee success and company culture through written storytelling
- Edit and proofread materials for grammar, format, style, accuracy, and consistency
- Support other communications department activities as needed
Qualifications
- In the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Communications, English, or related field
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
