Job DetailsJob Location: Los Angeles Baekjeong - Los Angeles, CA 90005Salary Range: $17.87 - $17.87 HourlyJob Category: Restaurant - Food ServiceEl puesto de preparador de alimentos realiza tareas rutinarias en la cocina, como preparar los puestos de trabajo y los ingredientes para que los alimentos puedan prepararse según las recetas. Un gran cocinero de preparación será rápido y diligente y estará dispuesto a mejorar en el trabajo. Será hábil y capaz de seguir instrucciones, así como todas las normas de salud y seguridad en la cocina. Deberes y Responsabilidades
-Mantener una cocina limpia y ordenada lavando los platos, desinfectando las superficies, sacando la basura y barriendo/fregando los suelos, etc.
- Asegurarse de que todos los alimentos y otros artículos se almacenan correctamente.
- Cumplir con la lista de preparación y las directrices de higiene.
- Etiquetar y almacenar todos los ingredientes en las estanterías para que estén organizados y sean fácilmente accesibles
- Preparar los ingredientes para cocinar lavando y cortando las verduras, etc.
- Preparar y medir los ingredientes y condimentos que se utilizarán en la cocina, así como la preparación para los cocineros de despensa y de línea.
- Preparar los cubos de desinfectante, con toallas para la estación
- Comprobar la temperatura de todos los frigoríficos
- Desinfectar las superficies del área de preparación
- Lavar cuchillos y tablas de cortar, y mantener limpios los puestos
- Comprobar el emplatado, la temperatura y las porciones de todos los platos
- Esterilizar el equipo de cocina al final del turno
- Controlar las existencias y hacer los pedidos necesarios
- Reponer todos los artículos necesarios
EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA
- Secundaria / GED o educación superior preferida
- 1+ año(s) de experiencia en un entorno de cocina de alto ritmo preferido
- Conocimiento en el almacenamiento de ingredientes preferido
- Debe saber como limpiar, afilar, mantener cuchillos de cocina
- Conocimiento de ingredientes alimenticios preferido
