Job Description

Position Overview:

 We are looking for a skilled Architect – Digital Factory & Supply Chain Applications to

play a pivotal role in defining the overall supply chain architecture for KGS Supply Chain and Manufacturing ecosystem. You will work closely with key stakeholders to design the interaction between various digital products ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain ecosystem. Your technical and business supply chain experience will be critical in drawing a comprehensive roadmap for a complex set of systems that will align with our mission of driving an industry-leading supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the architecture for core manufacturing and supply chain applications, with a focus on post-acquisition independence.
• Lead technical architecture for M&A separation, including clean-room setup, integration planning, and system stand-up.
• Ensure integration and interoperability across platforms (MES, ERP, APS, IIoT, WMS).
• Collaborate with business and functional leaders to align technology to business goals.
• Create solution templates and reference architectures for global reuse.
• Provide architectural oversight on implementation projects and system upgrades.
• Lead technical design reviews and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Support issue resolution, system performance tuning, and lifecycle planning.
• Stay current with trends in Industry 4.0, smart factory, and emerging digital technologies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or certifications preferred).
• 8+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles in manufacturing or supply chain systems.
• Experience with MES, APS, ERP, IIoT, and WMS platforms.
• Experience leading architecture for M&A activities or digital separations highly desired.
• Fluent in English (Spanish or other languages a plus).

Skills and Competencies ,Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of system architecture, integration patterns, APIs, and middleware.
• Experience with M&A carve-outs, data migration, and standalone system deployments.
• Proficiency in platforms such as JDE, Oracle EBS, Rockwell, Siemens, Kinaxis, or similar.
