Responsibilities
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Software Intern to help modernize an existing multi-language codebase. In this role, you will work on well-defined development tasks using a test-driven development (TDD) approach, incorporating AI-guided engineering where appropriate and under guidance. You will gain practical experience working with complex, network-oriented applications and develop an understanding of a large-scale commercial software product. The position also offers the opportunity to actively contribute within an Agile development environment and collaborate with a modern, distributed engineering team, providing valuable exposure to industry-standard tools, practices, and workflows.
Qualifications
About You:
You should be self-motivated with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
Specific requirements include:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Familiar with software programming languages such as, Python, Java C++ or C#.
• Basic knowlege of how TCP/IP networks work.
Other qualities include:
• Real passion for coding and a keen interest to continue learning and trying out new technologies
• Interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning a plus
• Team player, positive attitude, passionate for continuous learning, self-motivator, good analytical and troubleshooting skills, communication skills, apply multiple technologies to creatively exceed the user’s expectations and drive business value.
