Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of high-quality electronic devices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical housings, defining assembly structures, and producing precise technical documentation, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

 


Responsibilities


  • Design mechanical housing components using 3D CAD tools

  • Create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and documentation

  • Define and optimize the assembly structure of electronic devices

  • Collaborate with electronics, production, and quality teams throughout the development process

  • Ensure designs meet quality, functionality, and manufacturability standards


Qualifications


  • Completed training as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Polymechanic, or equivalent technical background
  • Proven experience in mechanical design

  • Professional experience with 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks or NX

  • Independent, structured, and precise working style

  • Strong quality awareness and attention to detail

  • Good communication skills in German and English

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
