We are taking world-leading Keysight tools and methodologies and using them to push our understanding of how cellular networks will evolve beyond 5G and towards 6G.
As a student in Telecom, Software, or Electronics engineering you will be involved with the transformation of ideas in the field of testing and measurement into proofs of concept in concert with the small and dynamic team we have setup at Novi, conveniently near Aalborg University.
Responsibilities
If you have experience with programming and software and an interest in telecoms and a desire to see how the field is set to evolve in the next 10 years, then this position is for you!
Your work will be of a varying scope and complexity, exposing you to the day-to-day work of Research Engineers running a research lab. One day you might be working on test execution code to stress test one of our partners’ networks, the next you might be writing code that enhances the post processing of results of potential tests, and the next you might be working on creating datasets that allow us to perform in depth analysis. Your work will always be evolving as you integrate into existing teams and projects where you will collaborate and learn from experienced engineers. The work can also easily be transitioned into your University Internship and/or a Master’s thesis, as we intend to work with you until you graduate.
No matter what work you end up doing, your hours with us are flexible with regards to your university schedule – we understand what studying is like and know that there will be periods where you are more available contrasted with ones where you need to focus on studies and exams.
Qualifications
- A Master’s student or a final-year Bachelor’s student
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Interested in Software and ideally Telecoms engineering
- Experienced in C++ and Python
- Comfortable working in group-based, collaborative environments
- Currently studying at Aalborg University (there is no support for relocation)
