We are looking for an Onsite support Field Service Engineer, to be based out of Delhi/Hyderabad/Pune. If you embrace the challenge and strive to do the best quality job, then this position may be for you. The successful applicant will provide a high level of technical support to external customers. The focus will be on diagnosing and repairing the installed systems, Automotive systems, wafer test system and RF/uW.

 

The position will also include duties related to service coordination and cross functional team member support.

 


Responsibilities


  • Analyze issues and develop resolutions in a timely fashion. Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits, triage with field applications scientists as appropriate. Create and maintain service information in the company enterprise database.

 

  • Responsible for Repair, maintenance, calibration of Keysight onsite service solutions at customer site along with Keysight classical instrument and will calibrate classical instruments on-site for large volume customers.

 

  • Works on on-site customer service and support assignments with broadly defined objectives, solve a broad range of system problems of varying scope and complexity, involving Electrical, Electronics hardware & software.

 

  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions.

 

  • Ensuring success through collaboration with your team on your work.
  • Provides guidance and training to customer personnel to Educate them about the product operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Recommend process improvements to achieve customer service and sales goals.
  • Interface with cross functional work teams such as Manufacturing, Sales Marketing and field applications.
  • Meeting performance metrics like customer satisfaction, TAT, Low re-repair rates, Quality compliance etc.
  • Optimize costing and Deliver Onsite calibration solution, Men and Machine management.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 2-4 years prior experience required in the field of servicing or in an industry where test & measurement equipment’s are used for manufacturing, testing, R&D, Aerospace Defense domain, wireless, Automotive etc.
  • Preferably working experience in Automotive/EV industry, RF/uW, wafer test industry, test and measuring instruments, (Design & Testing/Service background) would be added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel in India (must).
  • A customer-first mindset!
  • Demonstration of excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in an environment where commitment to deadlines for customers will be a priority.
  • Technically sound and eager to learn new & upcoming technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of costing and budgeting is preferable.
