About the Role

 

As a Contracts Manager, you will manage the end-to-end contract process for Keysight’s Latin America region, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements for products, services, and software licenses.  This position requires fluency in Spanish and English to manage cross-border contracts and collaborate with global teams.  You will work closely with Legal Department colleagues, sales, finance, and business teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and accelerate business opportunities.

 

 


Responsibilities


  • Lead contract negotiations with customers across Latin America within Keysight’s risk tolerance.
  • Draft, review, and manage customer contracts, including commercial, government, and channel partner agreements. 
  • Develop responses to RFPs and support sales teams with contract strategy.
  • Assess risk of non-standard terms and manage escalations for approval.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of government permits and operational requirements in Mexico.
  • Serve as point of contact for legal matters in the Latin America region.
  • Support contract transitions during corporate acquisitions.
  • Utilize contract lifecycle management and AI tools and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications


 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of contracts/paralegal experience

 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Legal education or background a plus (not required)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and contract negotiation skills
  • Experience reading and interpreting legal terms
  • Knowledge of Mexico and Latin America commercial law and contract principles
  • Analytical skills, initiative, and decision-making under pressure
  • Problem-solving ability to align customer requirements with company policies
  • Patience, respect, empathy, and ability to interact with diverse teams
  • Experience with government contracts or prime contracts is beneficial
  • Relevant experience in technology, services, software licensing, and SaaS sectors is beneficial.
