Optical Application Engineers play a pivotal role in enabling advanced optical solutions across diverse domains. Their expertise spans imaging, illumination, lighting, and photonics, ensuring optimal performance and high yield rates for products in industries such as automotive, general lighting, display technologies, and more. These engineers drive innovation by bridging cutting-edge optical design engineering solutions with real-world applications.


Responsibilities


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support pre-sales activities by providing technical guidance, demonstrations, and resource coordination to help customers evaluate and adopt Keysight solutions.
  • Provide proactive technical support for customers and prospects across imaging, illumination, lighting, and photonics applications.
  • Partnering with the sales and marketing teams to understand and meet customers’ technical and business challenges.
  • Identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a customer environment.
  • Gather and filter customer feedback to provide clear, actionable insights for improving product usability and adoption.
  • Prepare and organize technical resources for support, training, webinars, and customer visits.
  • Share analyzed and structured information with internal teams to facilitate discussion and enable appropriate resource allocation.

Qualifications


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor, Master. in Optics, Optical Sciences, Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • Experience with optical design tools and illumination or photonics software is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
