About the role

 

Our Byesville, OH, USA plant is an integral part of our Beverage division, dedicated to processing and packaging fruit-based juice mixes, syrups, extracts, and other liquid ingredients. What You'll Do

 

As a Production Operator in the Blending role, you’ll mix and prepare product batches, keep processing equipment running safely, and help ensure every batch meets our quality standards. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to keeping production moving.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Mix and blend batches according to customer formulas
  • Verify ingredients, amounts, and lot numbers
  • Record batch details and maintain accurate documentation
  • Monitor processing controls and address issues quickly
  • Watch for anything that could affect sterility and report mechanical problems
  • Assemble and disassemble pumps and piping for production and cleaning
  • Maintain steady product flow to avoid delays
  • Operate a lift truck to move and store ingredients
  • Clean equipment, tanks, rooms, tools, and piping
  • Follow all safety rules, GMPs, and company procedures
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and audit‑ready
  • Follow procedures for cleaning, sterilizing, and flavor changes
  • Participate in production planning and help train new operators
  • Support mechanics during inspections and communicate with Filler Operators about downtime or changes
  • Work as part of a team and assist other blenders when needed

What You'll Need to Succeed

 

  • High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older
  • 1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience ideal.
  • 6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime.
  • Must be self-motivated and conscientious.
  • Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers.
  • Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems.
  • Ability to complete certification requirements
  • Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred.

The pay rate for this position is $19.93 per hour.  Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance.  This job posting is anticipated to expire on February 19, 2026.
