Structuring and executing the acquisition of real estate deals in Asia-Pacific or any other allocated markets
Work closely with Keppel local offices to support investment processes and deal execution
Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions and present financial analysis to key stakeholders
Perform asset management duties in accordance to approved business plans and manage external relationships, including lenders, consultants and property managers.
Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/ consultants
Preparation of investment papers, presentations and other materials as required
Undertake regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information, to be included in reports when required
Portfolio/Asset Management (30-40% of time):
Maintain financial models for private funds (Americas portfolio)
Involved in supporting and coordinating internal and external debt financing discussions
Responsible for executing approved business plans and updating the investment committee on a regular basis
Liaise with local partners on a weekly basis and to strategize new portfolio/asset management initiatives accordingly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate Management or a related field from a reputable university
Prior experience in investment management / asset management within the real estate sector
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong financial modelling and presentation skills
Independent and able to work under tight deadlines
