Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented BIM Coordinator/ Engineer to join our team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The BIM Manager will lead and manage all Building Information Modelling (BIM) activities for a landmark mixed-use infrastructure project in Riyadh. Working within a global consultancy environment, the role will ensure the successful implementation, coordination, and governance of BIM processes across multiple disciplines, stakeholders, and project phases, in line with international standards and client requirements.
The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage BIM delivery on complex, large-scale infrastructure and mixed-use developments.
We envisage success in this role to include;
BIM Strategy & Governance
Developing, implementing, and managing the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in alignment with ISO 19650 standards and client requirements.
Establish BIM standards, protocols, workflows, and data management procedures across all project disciplines.
Ensure compliance with contractual BIM requirements and information delivery milestones.
Project & Stakeholder Coordination
Acting as the primary BIM point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
Coordinating BIM activities across infrastructure, buildings, utilities, and public realm elements of the mixed-use development.
Leading BIM coordination meetings, clash detection reviews, and design integration workshops.
Model Management & Technical Oversight
Overseeing the development, integration, and quality of discipline models (civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and infrastructure).
Ensuring accurate model federation, clash resolution, and information consistency across all platforms.
Managing Common Data Environment (CDE) setup, usage, and governance.
Leadership & Team Management
Leading, mentoring, and supporting a multi-disciplinary BIM team, including BIM Coordinators and Modelers.
Providing training, guidance, and performance oversight to ensure high-quality BIM delivery.
Supporting 4D, 5D, asset information models, and handover requirements where applicable.
Preparing BIM progress reports, risk assessments, and compliance updates for senior management and the client.Supporting continuous improvement of BIM capability within the project and wider organization.
- Promoting the use of digital engineering tools, automation, and data-driven workflow
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10/15 years of experience partnered with Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent field.
Advanced proficiency in a range of computer aided design tools including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and various Revit add-ins such as Dynamo, and integration tools with Specification, Energy Analysis, Cost control, Engineering analysis.
Advance proficiency in BIM360 Docs and Design (ACC).
