DevOps Engineer - SRE

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A DEVOPS ENGINEER:

• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, potential issues, and areas for improvement

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring effective resolution to minimize downtime and impact on users.

• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and development of tools

• Contribute to the design and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans

• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer or related role

• 1+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or related role

• Strong understanding of a cloud platform (AWS ideally, GCP, Azure)

• Experience with IaC tools like CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform

• Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with CI / CD practices, and experience with CI / CD technologies (Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
