JOB SUMMARY

DFA/Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed Pasteurizer - HTST Operator/Vacation Relief Operator to perform an array of functions including operating pasteurizer in compliance with State and Federal guidelines, obtaining milk and cream samples for testing by lab to include raw and processed product, wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and any other equipment as needed, produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches, follow recipe guidelines for all products produced. Pasteurizer - HTST Operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines. As a Vacation Relief Operator, this position will be required to cover other positions when other employees are on vacation or absent.

• $32.03 per hour

SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
