About this role
Kemps is hiring motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Operators to join our fast-paced team!
In this role, you’ll handle a variety of tasks, including building orders, palletizing products, loading and unloading trucks, staging materials for delivery, and working at assigned stations or lines.
Warehouse Operators are also responsible for safely operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment and other material handling machinery within warehouse, cooler, and dock environments, following all safety protocols and company guidelines.

OUR OPERATORS IN THIS ROLE START AT $26.65, AFTER 1 YEAR EARN $29.58 PER HOUR.
SCHEDULE: Second Shift, 4pm start. 10-12 hour shifts, rotating schedule

- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
- Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
- Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
- May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
