Description

As our Project Management Director, you are responsible for managing both operational and capital
projects across Kempinski properties. You will ensure strong communication and alignment between
all departments, drive structured project execution, and maintain the aesthetic and operational
standards of the properties through proactive inspections and documentation. 


Key Responsibilities

o Project Leadership: Lead, coordinate, engage and support cross-functional teams to ensure
projects meet strict deadlines and objectives.
o Planning & Execution: Validate RFPs and project scope and budget, Submit project proposals,
define clear deliverables, and establish effective project communication plans, Gantt Charts,
detailed budgets, delivery on time and on budget.
o Progress Oversight: Monitor project progress and prepare detailed monthly status reports for
senior management on outcomes and milestones.
o Quality Control: Maintain Kempinski’s high standards through proactive property inspections,
rigorous documentation, and consistent follow-up.
o Financial & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and ensure efficient resource
allocation across multiple priorities simultaneously.
o Strategic Alignment: Ensure all operational and capital projects are aligned with the division’s
overarching goals and Kempinski’s global standards.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

o Experience: Proven track record in managing complex projects or tasks with unique outcomes;
experience in global or matrixed organizations is preferred.
o Education: High school diploma or general education diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration or a related field is highly desirable.
o Certifications: Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI, PRINCE2) are
advantageous.
o Technical Knowledge: Experience with marine facilities or waterparks is considered a strong
advantage.
o Skills: Exceptional organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
o Communication: Strong collaboration ability and outstanding written and verbal communication
skills in English.
o Attributes: Highly motivated, self-driven, and possesses a strong sense of accountability and
professional presence.
o Adaptability: Composed under pressure and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
