As a Short-Term Capacity Specialist in Bucharest, serves as single point of contact and key interface between Supply Planning and manufacturing to deliver the short-term planning cycle at the agreed targets.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Serves as single point of contact and key interface between Supply Planning and manufacturing to deliver the short-term planning cycle at the agreed targets.
  • Proactively works to analyze current and potential Supply Risks on specific manufacturing platforms
  • Develops and coordinates action plans with key stakeholders to ensure the right mitigation options are made visible, e.g. recommending changes to production schedules.
  • Works closely with inventory planners to manage projects, delists and packaging stock.
  • Represents the Supply Planning team on daily, weekly and monthly governance calls where options and recommendations need to be clearly presented with all the facts to ensure efficient decision making.
  • Coordinates cross-functional/geographical teams to ensure the right level of visibility is given.
  • Leads/contributes to building processes and procedures between cross-functional teams.
  • Escalates issues to Managers, in due time, to avoid any impact on results.
  • Acts decisively and engages effectively with key stakeholders: such as the Categories, Plants, Markets and Area Logistics in a manner that generates buy-in and excitement for Supply planning.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by the leadership team of the Supply Planning department.

 

Your recipe for success

 

  • University Degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field)
  • Language Skills: advanced English
  • Expertise in Supply Planning process including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
  • Experience working in a data driven process or service centre environment, with time pressure and priorities to be balanced
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally, managing external relationships
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and the ability to influence others
  • Ability to problem solve and evaluate impact using systems, data and trends
  • Processed and packaged foods industry experience
