About this role

Title:

Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Instructor

KBR is seeking an instructor to provide on on-site Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Operations Course instruction to Guardians attending Counter Communication System OR Bounty Hunter training courses on Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.

A strong candidate has experience teach EW fundamentals and/or operating and instructing the Bounty Hunter or Counter-Communications System weapon systems (or equivalent). In this position, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom instruction consistent with Instructional System Development (ISD).
  • Develop, validate, and review training products to include lessons plans, scripts, visual aids, and input cards.
  • Coordinate students, resources, and room availability.
  • Identify and recommend improvements/upgrades to systems.
  • Interface with internal and external agencies as required maintaining up-to-date training programs.
  • Coordinate instructional activities with training managers and Government training personnel.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 3+ years of instructor experience, preferably using the ADDIE model or ISD.
  • Experience teaching EW fundamentals.
  • Possess working knowledge of operational level command and control.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-Starter with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and deliverables with minimal guidance.
  • Skilled in public speaking.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare quality products including lesson plans and briefings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (i.e, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).

Desired:

  • Experience instructing the Counter Communications System, Bounty Hunter or equivalent weapon system and corresponding training program.
  • Experience with using operating, or knowledge of Patriot Excalibur (PEX).

Work Environment:

  • Location: Peterson SFB
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Standard

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

$100,000 - $110,000

This range is for Colorado only.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
