Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Administers health screenings/fitness testing both on and off site.
Gives exercise prescriptions.
Conducts lectures on various aspects of exercise and exercise physiology.
Interfaces with physicians when necessary.
Provides progress reports to physicians and insurance companies in a timely manner.
Demonstrates cardiovascular and weight resistance equipment.
Conducts one-on-one exercise sessions.
Creates and builds working relationships with members and staff.
Enhances growth and development through educational programs, and presentations.
Informs management of problems or complaints regarding the facility.
Additional
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range
