About this role
Require an IT professional who is proficient with SAP to assist with User Acceptance Testing for implementation of an SAP S4 System. This role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to validate test requirements, execute tests, analyze test results, and report & track defects and defect resolutions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review of BPDs and FS to confirm full coverage of expected deliverables and writing test cases based on input from business source.
- Adding execution steps to existing cases, confirming accuracy & if they meet business requirements.
- Perform manual testing, including smoke, functional, regression, system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Stage scenarios & test cases and provide general assistance to business users.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using tools, such as JIRA, for the reporting, tracking, and resolution of defects/deviations/incidents.
- Collaborate with project & business team members to ensure timely investigation and resolution of identified issues.
- Liaise with business and functional teams regarding defect resolutions/status.
- Monitor & provide updates regarding tickets impeding progress.
- Maintaining open and clear communication with team members and project leaders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the utility or electrical industry. Must have a strong understanding of various SAP Modules, capabilities and limitations. Understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
