Job Title: Assistant Toll Gate Supervisor
Job Summary: Assist the Tollgate Supervisor with the entire tollgate process and make sure vehicles are entering the Kauffman Stadium/Truman Sports Complex in an efficient and quick manner.
Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Enforce approved tollgate procedures to staff, including proper collection of credit card transactions.
- Help schedule Tollgate Operators staff for each game day
- Ensure Guest Service Program is implemented.
- Be constantly aware of surroundings
- Be alert to guests needing first aid, transportation or parking pass assistance
- Help set up and remove tollbooth equipment between events
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must be able to operate an electronic scanning device.
- Must be able to work all Royals home games
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be reliable and be able to follow specific job duties.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must undergo and pass a background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds
- Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, between booths, etc.
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
