Job Description:
The Tianjin Juilliard School is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator to manage and execute content operations across the School’s owned social media platforms. Based in Tianjin, this role focuses on hands-on digital content production, platform management, and audience engagement to support the School’s admissions initiatives, public performances, and community engagement.
Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Digital Communications Coordinator works closely with colleagues on both the Tianjin and New York campuses to ensure content alignment, brand consistency, and coordinated social media planning.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the School’s social media platforms, including but not limited to WeChat, RedBook (Xiaohongshu), and Weibo, covering content creation, posting, and copywriting.
- Engage directly with audiences on social media platforms and route relevant feedback or inquiries to appropriate internal departments.
- Collect content needs from different departments, plan and adjust content topics accordingly, and produce content as required.
- Support institutional branding initiatives through content creation and editing for digital editorials and promotional materials.
- Monitor brand representation and public sentiment across the School’s owned social media platforms.
- Expand social media platform and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) relationships, follow up on communication, and maintain these relationships.
- Maintain an understanding of classical music and the School’s academic and performance activities to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Undertake other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above; majors in journalism, communications, musicology, arts management, or related fields preferred.
- More than 1 year of relevant work or internship experience.
- Prior experience in social media operations, classical music and/or music education is a plus.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Strong ability to independently gather information and produce digital content.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and audience communication.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and execution ability.
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commonly used social media tools.
