NCC Solutions Architect Manager

The role is responsible for leading the development and evolution of JT Group’s global network and communications infrastructure, covering WAN, LAN, Internet, security, cloud services, unified communications, and video conferencing. It ensures that global network services remain flexible, cost-effective, and aligned with corporate strategies and standards. The position collaborates with service providers to design and implement new network solutions, maintain a standardized service portfolio, and stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance the organization’s global technical architecture.

As the NCC Solutions Architect Manager, under the area of D&IT you will:

• • Own and manage key NCC global services, ensuring optimal balance of cost, performance, and reliability across JT Group’s global network infrastructure.

  • Serve as Primary Service Owner for:

    • Managed Wireless & LAN (including OT Secure LAN)

    • WAN underlay – MPLS (Japan/APAC)

    • SD-WAN (sanctioned countries)

    • Private Cloud Interconnect (Japan/APAC)

    • Managed Edge-DMZ

    • Main DC/Azure isolation and hardening

    • UC/UCC services (including sanctioned countries)

  • Act as Secondary Service Owner for:

    • DC infrastructure (Japan)

    • Private 4G/5G

    • WAN underlay – MPLS (Global)

    • SD-WAN/CDN (Japan/APAC)

    • Unified Remote Access/ZTNA

    • Reverse Proxy/WAF

    • Internet Access

    • UC/UCC services (Global)

  • Develop and maintain the NCC Technical Roadmap, integrating emerging technologies into the global architecture strategy.

  • Contribute to Global IT Strategic Planning by evaluating and adopting new networking and communication innovations.

  • Oversee change and service request management, providing timely technical and cost assessments with clear recommendations.

  • Provide advanced operational support during major incidents or crises, assisting NCC Operations in rapid issue resolution.

REQUIREMENTS

• Holds a university degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Over 5 years of IT experience, specializing in Technical Architecture, Telecommunications, IP Telephony, Call Centers, and Security Services.

• Skilled in designing and maintaining enterprise-wide Telecom solutions for Voice, Video, and Data Networks.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, particularly Microsoft Teams administration, policies, and licensing.

• Proficient in IT Service Management (ITIL, ITSM, SLAs) with good understanding of IT Finance and vendor management.

• Excellent communication and project management skills; experienced in multicultural environments.

• Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365, Genesys, Audiocodes/Ribbon, CCNA or higher, Fortinet NSE4+, with hands-on experience in Cisco (IOS), FortiGate, F5 Big IP, and HPE Aruba
