About this role
Valley Asphalt Corporation is currently seeking a Yard Laborer (entry level position) to work out of our Heavy Equipment / Fleet division in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is accountable for maintaining, organizing, and provide a safe yard environment for the company.
Yard Laborer Responsibilities:
- Maintaining good organization within the yard
- Load and unload freight within the shop operation
- Organize company vehicles in preparation for use
- Empty metal bins
- Backup parts runners positions
- Other duties/jobs as assigned my management
Yard Laborer Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Experience operating a forklift.
Yard Laborer Skills:
- Ability to operate a standard shift vehicle
- Strong computer / PC skill
- Dependable and self-motivated
