Junior Product Manager- Furniture & Building Elements

Are you passionate about innovative product development and eager to jumpstart your career in a global industrial environment? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Product Manager to support our growing portfolio in the furniture  & building elements industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into the world of international product management.

 

Day-in-the-life and your responsibilities:

  • Manage interfaces between local departments, sales organizations as well as the headquarters
  • Assumption of operational tasks in relation to individual industry portfolios
  • Implementing the global product and market strategy in the Americas and adapting to regional requirements
  • Observation and analysis of selected target markets to derive future product ideas from a technical and commercial perspective
  • Support in marketing measures in the areas of content and knowledge transfer as well as in the development of additional markets, customers and partners
  • Collecting and processing regional market and competitive information
  • Continuous optimization and further development of the regional product range in coordination with the headquarters

 

Our requirements:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, wood science, material science, business administration or marketing
  • Preferred two years of relevant work experience in the adhesive or furniture industry
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Professional appearance, communicative and intercultural competence as well as flexibility and creativity
  • Structured and independent way of working with strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Market and customer-oriented mindset with high persuasiveness and assertiveness
  • Team player with a very high level of commitment, results-orientated and self-motivated
  • Business fluent in English (Spanish, Portuguese or German are a plus) and willing to travel
