Site Agent/Sub Agent/Senior Engineer - Heavy civils

We have an award-winning reputation, industry leading safety culture and have had the privilege to be a part of some of the most critical infrastructure projects taking place today.</p><p><strong>We are currently recruiting for an Agent to join our heavy civils team in Southampton</strong></p><p><strong>As the Agent you will be required to:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead the site team supervision, including subcontractors</p></li><li><p>Monitor site activities against the target programmes and site planning</p></li><li><p>Ensure adequate records are maintained complying with the JGL Information Management System, e.g. Quality Assurance documentation, daily diaries and as built drawings</p></li><li><p>Prepare and deliver daily site briefings</p></li><li><p>Monitor all works activities to ensure the they meet the Works Specification and are being delivered in a safe manner</p></li><li><p>Attend site meetings</p></li><li><p>Give formal communications to clients and subcontractors including but not limited to Early Warnings, and instructions</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards</p></li><li><p>Produce site documentation eg RAMS and ITP’s</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with ITP’s</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively with the Client's team</p></li></ul><p><strong>To be successful in this position the Site Agent must have the following:</strong></p><ul><li><p>A BSc, MSc, or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering aligned subject</p></li><li><p>The ability to work well within a dynamic, fast-paced team, whilst working autonomously&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>The ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively.</p></li><li><p>Previous site experience in delivering projects to programme</p></li><li><p>The ability to manage the installation of works to a high specification / quality</p></li><li><p>The mindset to seek opportunities and problem solve with the design team and supply chain to identify programme and production opportunities</p></li><li><p>Experience of working with <span style="color:rgb(36, 36, 36);font-family:&quot;Aptos Narrow&quot;, Calibri, &quot;sans-serif&quot;, &quot;Mongolian Baiti&quot;, &quot;Microsoft Yi Baiti&quot;, &quot;Javanese Text&quot;, &quot;Yu Gothic&quot;;font-size:14.6667px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:left;text-indent:0px;white-space:pre-wrap;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);float:none;display:inline !important;">Cofferdam Backfill, Clean Water pipework installation, Heavy Civils</span></p></li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>LIFE Culture</strong><br>At the Joseph Gallagher Group, we're promoting a culture change within the industry and demonstrating initiatives to dramatically improve Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
