About this role

IT business Lead APAC - Finance Process Enablement

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Finance Business Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be work closely with APAC finance team, business department and global IT delivery COE in the implementation and management of ERP and any IT systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP finance background would be a must), strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for capture AS-IS process and further leverage global enterprise and local solutions for the TO-BE process that ensures processes are enhanced in a sustainable and efficient manner. You will work closely with business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements and manage the development effort to completion.

How you will do it

Follow global digital transformation plan to do further assessment on the implementation in regional and lead IT project success in regional (like ERP/E-invoice etc.) Gather intelligence from finance representatives about their departmental needs

Business analysis, requirements specification, and implementation of to-be processes

Identify opportunities for process advancement leveraging technology Participate in ideation activities to create high-level process and technology roadmaps. Support creation of IT investment proposals and/or Agile Release Trains. Map business objectives and capability needs to specific business functions and processes. Analyze and document business processes related to finance and accounting in service and product sales industry. Identify areas for improvement and recommend streamlined process and system solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SOR and functional specifications. Coordinate system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of SAP Finance solutions. Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of SAP Finance solutions. Work closely with the business and IT to ensure correct understanding, modelling, and implementation of business requirements Partner with other IT teams to create and maintain application roadmap aligned to the business objectives Develop and retain positive relationships with other IT teams to delivery long-term solution Plan and lead change management activities including testing and user trainings Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion Evaluate and recommend new opportunities for enhancing software, hardware and IT processes with the finance team and the IT department on the latest technology and its implications on the processes Conduct usability and functional testing and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Participate in development of solution training material and execution of change management activities. Enable effective practices in data governance, business intelligence, and data analytics. Support risk management, regulatory compliance, Information Security, and audit remediation activities. Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, including creation of business impact analyses. Present the developed solution to the concerned audience and solicit feedback. Participate in migration, handover, end-user training and deployment activities. Prepare use cases, business requirements documents (BRD), system requirements specification (SRS) documents and other functional documents.

What we look for

Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures University degree in the area of computer science/ business information systems or similar Minimum of 10 years of overall work experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in the financial processes Prior experience working in a financial shared service environment is a strong plus Experience working within and / or supporting ERP transaction finance areas strongly preferred Knowledge of major ERPs such as SAP, Oracle or Baan is a must to have Demonstrated prior experience with process mapping a plus Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills Excellent command of both spoken and written English Experience in business analysis and/ or business processes automation Understanding of IT landscape, systems and Integration architecture in large organizations Ability to collaborate across multiple functions, departments and levels under global organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High level of abstraction, fast understanding and conceptual thinking Effective communication and presentation skills Ability to deliver quality output under tight deadlines
