What you will do
Do you have HVAC experience? We are looking for skilled Journeymen who have worked in residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment.
We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards and advancement, increased incentive opportunity for executed pull-through work, top of the line technology, equipment and uniforms and a #1 focus on employee safety.
Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry. You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.
This position is for our service area, of North Florida, South Georgia.
Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boiler and steam operational & service knowledge.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Install and remove HVAC equipment including Chillers, Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, and Pumps
Skilled in pipefitting, including welded, screwed, and copper pipe
Worksite primarily service area, of North Florida, South Georgia.
occasional travel to other locations may be required
Safety PPE and uniforms provided; must be worn at all times
Background screening and drug testing required due to facility access
Complete Safety Analysis on mobile device before each task
Perform physically demanding tasks: climbing, lifting, and carrying materials up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work independently and in customer-facing environments; professionalism required at all times
Must be a member in good standing with Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union #234, Jacksonville, FL
Compensation by Collective Bargaining Agreement
Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Interest in Mechanical Welding/ Pipefitting/ HVAC Equipment required. On the job training will be provided in each of these areas.
Uniforms are provided and must be worn throughout the workday.
Our work takes place in many facilities that requires background screening and drug testing
This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
Pay Range: $ 37.50 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
