This position may be located in Kernersville, NC or Davenport, IA. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency. 

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Product Consultant - Excavators located in Kernersville, NC or Davenport, IA, you will:

 

  • Improve channel knowledge of assigned products and solutions.
  • Promote and support the sale of John Deere solutions including direct interactions with John Deere dealers and customers.
  • Use knowledge and expertise to develop world-class training material.
  • Travel to dealers and customer jobsites to provide product and/or production system expertise.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of excavators
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%

  • Site development production systems expertise
  • Experience as a professional equipment/systems operator
  • Background in education and/or instruction 

 

Education

 

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent related work experience
