Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a Spreader/Release Operator, this position is responsible for performing spreading/releasing parts.
Hourly Rate (Non-Exempt): $17.75 - $18.25 per hour (DOE)
Work Schedule (Monday-Friday) 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Good math skills
· Basic computer skills
· Good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· At least three (3) months in a manufacturing/production/warehouse environment.
· Prior experience in an electronic component manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Loading and unloading of material onto setters.
· Spread part in the setters, either manually or machine per traveler requirements.
· Release parts, rolling parts by hand.
· Complete travelers before forwarding to next department.
· Back-up to the Tumbler Operators
· Assist the Kiln Operators, as needed.
· Work area is to be kept clean and neat at all times.
· Housekeeping chores will be performed as assigned.
· Cross training for other jobs is required so that employees can occasionally fill-in other departments, when required.
· Additional or different functions may be assigned to the employee periodically.

· Use of microscope up to 5% of shift
· Sitting up to 90% of shift; Standing/Walking up to 10% of shift.
· Bending/Twisting of neck and waist up to 90% of shift.
· Reaching above and/or below shoulder level up to 10% of shift.
· Lift, push, pull and/or move - up to 15lbs. for 30% of shift.
· Simple hand grasping up to 90% of shift; Fine hand manipulation 5% of shift.
· Will occasionally work in fast paced environment and demonstrate adaptability.
· Must understand and follow a set of clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
· Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet a set of qualitative production standards.
· Interact with co-workers to complete tasks.
· Perform assigned tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment and will occasionally be exposed to hot working environment. This role is exposed to chemicals and will use protective equipment such as: apron, gloves, and eyewear (when cleaning). This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers and photocopiers
